s   I have worked in my own 6,000 square foot studio, shooting food, people, products, vehicles and concepts, using the finest lighting controls, backgrounds, props and strobes available.

s   I have worked with 2-sided coves, muslins, woods, marble, tiles, draperies, papers, fabrics, leathers and vinyl backgrounds.  I have worked on microscopic and scientific images, macroscopic forensics of metal fatigue and with new products large and small.   I can work in almost any environment, producing images that look like they were shot in a huge studio.

s   I have worked on location, shooting people, products, activities, medical, food, legal, industrial, commercial, architectural, construction, catalog, special event, public relations, advertising and political assignments, using the best and the most expensive, medium format, camera and lighting gear in the world.

s   I have worked in surgical suites of every type.  I have also worked in executive suites and hotel suites.  From kitchens large and small to warehouses, construction sites and retail stores.  I have been inside buildings heavily damaged by arson fires and under structures destroyed by earth quakes.

s   I have worked with permit agencies, labor unions, fire, law enforcement, huge cranes, stunt drivers, aircraft, radios, caterers and specific talent.

I am able to shoot and print your pictures on site.

I can use my 22, 39 an 60 million pixel Hasselblad H1 camera systems, along with 3 Kodak 8660 Dye Sub printers, to produce the highest quality, sharp, vibrant, beautifully colored, high definition photographic prints right at your event.

This is not a "Photo Booth".

This is professional photography, done on location, using all of the typical professional lighting techniques usually found only in the high-end studios.

I use high power studio strobes, Photogenic soft box light modifiers, posing stools, fans, scrims, reflectors, tripods, umbrellas and hand-painted backgrounds.

This is not something that I can do by myself.  It requires at least one if not two additional professional assistants to complete this task.

I do the photos while my assistants run the custom tower computer and print finishing stations.  The computer does the print prep, Photoshop and image sizing.

All prints are inserted into heavy, black, gray or brown Winslow mats before being displayed for pickup.

These heavy Winslow brand photo mats will stand up on their own.  The will not flex or "wimp out" on your desk or shelf.  These are not cheap, "Prom-type" frames.  They have a fluted, wavy cut edge and a slight pebble texture across their surface.  The prints are framed with thin gold or silver colored keylines, for the professional look.

These mats can be pre-ordered and stamped with company logos and party names, in brilliant gold, silver, red or blue foils.  Special foils can be ordered if there is time.

If there are too many guests to shoot in a specific time frame, I will need to multiply the shooters, computers and assistants to meet the needs of the event.

We are location portable.  We can work indoors or out.

At golf matches or sporting events, we need to locate our printers inside of our custom transparent tent, to reduce the effect of the wind and dust on the prints.  Wind cools the super-heated printers, during their dye-sublimation printing process.  That affects the way that the colors are heat-transferred to the papers.  Dust makes little specs on the prints.

I can shoot with my own studio drapery backgrounds or with anything supplied, such as athletic VIP's, CEO's, architectural structures or scenic backgrounds, such as the Hawaiian coast, the cruise ship pool, special Formula One race cars or the actual golf course.

Once the images have been shot, it takes only a few moments to convert the original RAW files into TIFF files.  In some cases, your guests can choose their own best shots.  All images are numbered by the cameras.

Once converted to TIFF files, we Photoshop and sharpen every single picture.  We can remove wrinkles, clothing issues, open eyes, remove braces or exchange heads.

Then, the prints will be sent to our professional Kodak dye-sub printers.  Each picture will take about 2 minutes to be completed.

Our prints are ready for handling right out of the dye-sub printers.  We cut and frame them as needed before they are displayed for your guests to pickup, before they leave your event.

Our dye sub printers can print 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 images.

Since these images are shot with the Hasselblad H1 digital camera system, the images can also be printed at normal photo labs, up to 48"x96", with the same amount of high definition, color and resolution.

This service is manpower intensive.  It can't be done by one person.

We charge a flat fee of around $2,500.00 to set up and to shoot.

Variables will exist due to the number of shooters and "back-end" crew.

The costs for your prints will be extra and they will be the same as the list above.

We can work with a user-pay or a host-pay process.  If you are going to pay for the prints for each of your guests or employees, we will need to establish limits and procedures so that it all flows smoothly.

If the user will be paying for the prints, we will be able to take cash and credit cards.

I can build a project specific proposal, based on your budget and event.

The prices for the Winslow folders will depend on the sizes used and on any embossing or pre-print process needed.  The folders start at $1.00 each for 5x7 sized folders.

Special programs can be bid for cruises, destination events, car races and Holiday events, such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween.

We can provide Santas, from special Sannta companies.  These Santas have natural beards, not fake hair.  They have been cleared by the police and are professionals in their demeanor and attitude.  You can feel comfortable using them around children as well as with adults.  These Santas are paid as extras and would need to be bid along with any other cartoon character, such as Bunnies or Goblins, etc.

Let me know what you are thinking so that I can bid on your project.

The rest will need to be approved, in advance.

I have worked, nation wide, from Hawaii to New York, Florida to Minnesota, Las Vegas, Tahoe, San Diego, San Francisco and down through Cancun... to name a few.  My Passport is current, in case that is an issue.

s Services provided

I will shoot all of your images as RAW files.  The size of these files will depend on the digital recorder used.  The 22 million pixel system creates 25mb RAW files.  The 39 million pixel system creates 45mb RAW files.  The 60 million pixel system creates 65mb RAW files.

Those RAW files will need to be moved off of my compact flash cards and onto discs or a drive for storage.  I can use your supplied Hard Drive or my Fuji +R DVD discs, at $15.00 per disc, shell and label.

Your original RAW files will need to be converted into High Definition JPEG and TIFF files for use online or for prints.  That conversion process will take some amount of billable time.  Exactly how much time it will take will depend entirely on how much was shot.

You can do your own RAW file conversions or I can provide that service for you.  I charge $100.00/hour for my RAW file conversion processing time.

If I convert your files for you, I will use Phase One, Capture One Pro.  This is the industry leading RAW file conversion program.  There are other programs out there but none of them can do as much or as good a job.  Most of the other RAW file conversion programs were designed for the relatively simple and un-sophisticated 35mm RAW files.  For every color recorded by the smaller 35mm digital cameras, my Phase One system records 16 different, distinct colors.  I have 16 shades of white for every single shade of white recorded by a 35mm camera system.  35mm cameras don't have the horse power or sophistication of the industry leader Phase One systems.

Therefore, 35mm cameras do not need as sophisticated a RAW file conversion program to make the change into JPEG and TIFF.

Generally speaking, 35mm shooters are not as sophisticated or as demanding as are medium format, Phase One shooters.  35mm shooters already know that and so do their clients.  You will find most 35mm shooters saying that their little 35mm camera systems "...are good enough...".

My clients are more sophisticated and discerning.  My clients know the not-so-subtle differences between 35mm and Phase One pictures.

That's why I get "the call" so often.

I use Phase One to record the images and Phase One, Capture One Pro to convert the images.  Phase One RAW files are very complex and nothing converts them as well as the Phase One, Capture One Pro.

I am proud to say that Phase One and Hasselblad are why I am such a success.

I can make your converted RAW files any size, any color and any file type you wish, all at one time.

Do you want 300dpi, 16bit, 8x10 TIFFs and 100dpi, 8 bit, 4x5 JPEGs and 300dpi, 8bit, 5x7, sepia-toned or black & white TIFFs all at once? Phase One can do it for you.  There are no limits to their possibilities.

Like I said before.  I provide my clients with the best... for less.

I provide low cost, nation wide,  High Definition,  Digital, 22,  39 and 60 million pixel, medium and large format, professional;  Executive Photography, Aerial Photography, Legal Photography, Medical Photography, Industrial Photography, Corporate Photography, Red Carpet Photography, Construction Photography, Scientific Photography, Public Relations Photography, Commercial Photography, Advertising Photography, Food Photography, Architectural Photography, Product Photography, Political Photography and Special Events Photography services.

Once converted, your JPEG and TIFF files should be Photoshopped and sharpened before they are printed or published.  Photoshop will allow you to enhance, edit, modify and correct your files before you make a print or use them online.

This is how a "good" picture becomes a "great" print.

I do not recommend printing anything from a low-res JPEG file.  Use those highly compressed, low res JPEG files for online purposes only.

Prints should only be made from High Definition, Photoshopped, sharpened, 300dpi, sRGB, TIFF files.

There are 600dpi printers out there but no one has them yet.

Large prints require large files.  A small, 4x5, print will require 6mb of 300dpi TIFF file data. An 8x10 print will require 25mb worth of 300dpi TIFF files data.  A 16x20 print will need 85mb worth of 300dpi TIFF file data.  You do not want to print a 16x20 picture from a 25mb file, meant for an 8x10 picture.  The resultant print will look soft, fuzzy and strangely colored if the proper size TIFF file is not used.

I can do all of your Photoshop work for you or you can do it all yourselves.  I charge $100.00/hour for my Photoshop services, plus expenses.  The disc costs or Hard Drive transfers costs will be extra.

Your finalized Photoshopped files will need to be transferred to disc or drive for storage.

You can print your pictures at my recommended professional photo lab, if you would like.  Or, you can print them at any provider near you.  My recommended pro lab, AV Partners, will do the best job.  They are open 7 days a week and are located in Santa Ana.

The typical discount, "big box" stores can also do the prints for you but their quality will be lower.  Their papers will be very thin, usually glossy, over-sized and, often, off color. These discount stores may change the way your files get cropped and exposed.  I do not recommend using any "big box" club or discount store for your prints.

They just aren't good enough.

I can do your printing for you.  Your per-print prices are listed on my Prices Page.

Albums might be necessary for some jobs.  You can design and print your own albums, if you have the time, the software and the artistic skills needed.

However, I can provide those services for you, if you want to buy an album.  I charge $100.00/hour for those services, plus the album materials expense.  These albums can be any size, from 4x5 to 16x20, any shape and any thickness.  I highly recommend GraphiStudio.  They are a wonderful Italian company.

These gorgeous digital albums start at about $600.00 for the materials.   My design times range from 8 to 40 hours, depending.  I do all of my custom, non-template album designs in the comfort of my client's homes and offices.  My clients personally help and direct their own album  designs.

I do NOT recommend using any album manufacturer that uses an inkjet printer for their albums.  They usually make that inkjet decision because it is CHEAPER than doing the album with real photos.  Are you looking for a CHEAP album?

You may order any album, from any manufacturer the world, at near-wholesale prices.  Take a look at the album  contact list on the Prices Page.
