All of the little cats and dogs, at the Animal Assistance League of Orange County, would like to thank you, so much, for your very generous participation and donations at the SCMM Mini Cooper Car Show, at the Al Enderle Center, in June, 2009.

Your gracious gifts will be used to rescue, rehabilitate and to provide sanctuary for their rescued dogs and cats until they are placed in permanent loving homes.

Personally, I have never before seen so many cute little Mini Cooper cars, so well taken care of, all in one place.  Their range of character, colors, quality and condition was amazing.

The Animal Assistance League of Orange County,  www.aaloc.org , is the largest no kill, non-profit, humane animal rescue and adoption center in all of Orange County.  At any one time, they routinely take care of about 200 cats and dogs, both at their kennel as well as in their various foster homes.  AALOC is located at 15102 Jackson Street, in Midway City, California, 92655.  They can be reached at 714.893.4393.

If you have a moment of free time and an empty spot in your heart, they can always use volunteers to help nurture, hug, kiss, care for, walk and be best buds with a wide range of very special animals.  If you have an extra penny or two, they can always use your financial donations.  Every dime goes to help the animal programs, medical bills and adoption efforts. 

In addition to working with their own cats and dogs, the Animal Assistance League also works directly with other animal rescues, helping them to fund medical care for the animals and to help with the day-to-day issues for a wide range of animals.

The girls scouts, from Troop 106, in Portola Hills, baked a wonderful variety of cookies and doggie treats that they sold, at the SCMM Car Show.  During the show, some of the girls walked and played with Jet, Pinto and Sundance, 3 beautiful, playful little dogs from AALOC.  The girls also drew the winning raffle numbers and sold their handmade doggie toys during the SCMM Mini Cooper car Show.  Altogether, Troop 106 raised $180.00 for AALOC. 

This was the second Annual SCMM All Mini Car Show.  There were more than 100 cars in attendance.  SCMM Vice President and Orange County Area Coordinator, Dan Skorcz, says that this may become an annual event because these last two events went so well.  The event was held at the Al Enderle Shopping Center, in Orange, off the 55 Freeway at 4th street.  Al Enderle graciously provided the space, trophies for a variety of winners and some raffle prizes.  Thank you, Al.
